Student Innovation Team
The Hub’s Student Innovation Team (SIT) serves as a solutions incubator for Michigan State University students- researching and addressing problems and opportunities in spatial design, classroom curriculum, campus culture, and technology while receiving training in design thinking, creative problem solving, and collaborative teamwork.
In the Fall of 2018 and Spring of 2019, I had the privilege of co-leading the SIT. As a leader, I was responsible for training members in human-centered design, managing team dynamics, assigning tasks, and empowering members to employ their HCD training as well as their own unique skills and talents. Our team's project aimed to make resources visible to students at MSU, especially low-income and first generation students.
