SCIENCE GALLERY DETROIT
Science Gallery International's mission is to act as a collider of art and science, and to engage 15-25 year olds in connective, participative, and surprising ways. They do this by combining emerging research and ideas from the worlds of art, science, design, and technology.
I started work with Science Gallery Detroit in November of 2016. By the the summer of 2018, we opened our first exhibition, and the first Science Gallery exhibition in the western hemisphere, HUSTLE. I worked as the Lead Evaluator for HUSTLE, designing data collection methods and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data during and after the exhibition. In 2019, we launched our second exhibition, DEPTH, on which I worked as an Experience Designer. As an Experience Designer, my job was to work with a handful of artists and scientists to connect them to resources and help them think experientially about their exhibit.
