MCAH & MSU Spoken Word Project
This project stems off of the Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness Speakers Bureau. The purpose of this spoken word project was to provide individuals who have experienced homelessness with a platform that allows them to tell their story through a new, and often healing, medium. A mix of spoken word and musical composition, these stories shed light on what it means to experience homelessness in a profound way.
I got involved with this project towards the end of my senior year of college. Though I could only participate for a short while, I am honored to have been a part of the group that made this project come to life. Click here or on the image below to listen.

Housing Insecurity and Food Insecurity (HIFI) Working Group
The mission of HIFI is to begin conversations and develop a network that will help to transform Michigan State University into a basic needs secure institution. My role in this working group was to lead interactive discussion sessions with students regarding their understanding of basic needs resources on campus.
